Which loan company to choose?

can anyone reccommend a loa company suited for people with bad credit? looking for something siple, fast and no upfront loans?

Do you mean a loan that's secured (mortgage advance) or unsecured (personal loan)?

How bad is bad? You have any CCJs, arrears, missed payments etc?

Then unless you want to pay interest in the 100s of percent I would start saving.

How long ago was it, and could you pay it off now (without further borrowing, that is)?

Just an aside. I heard one of those adverts for a log-book loan, against a car. The APR was over 400%. :o I could have expected that sort of interest rate for an unsecured loan, but it was quite a shock to know it would apply to a secured loan.
