breathless 10 #1 Posted July 10, 2011 I bought a laptop about 2-3 weeks ago but its developed a fault. If I return this to pcworld can I get a full refund on my credit card or will they just say I can only have it repaired through them? Grandad.Malky 11 #3 Posted July 10, 2011 I guess it depends what’s wrong, if you want a refund you are going to have to show its “ not fit for purpose”.
 Share this content via...
denlin 12 #4 Posted July 10, 2011 If you bought it less than 21 days ago you can ask for refund if it's faulty, after that it would need to be sent to technical support and dependent on what outcome of that was would be repair, exchange or refund, some manufacturers insist on repair
 Share this content via...

matsalleh 10 #12 Posted July 10, 2011 True, if the shop agrees- and we don't yet know that. Be firm but polite,it makes a big difference.Insist on a refund if thet's what you want.A laptop that breaks down after 21 days is not fit for purpose, unless you dropped it downstairs.
