MagnetMan   10 #1 Posted July 6, 2011 Does anyone know what is the building near the bus station that is on stilts.. or at least held up by them?  As you walk from say ponds forge tram stop to the bus station its the big one your left / in front of you?  it looks quite old but the doors boarded up make it look like some kind of theatre? olilew   11 #6 Posted July 6, 2011 it used to be the mail centre, which has now moved to brightside in a purpose built unit, the central delivery office which covers S1 S2 S3 S4 and S14 is the one by ponds forge. the building in question is, i believe, still owned by Royal Mail.
