Who can I donate unwanted kitchenware to?

Recommended Posts

Hello Sheffield,

I have just got married so as a result we have been bought loads of new stuff for the house. I need to get rid of loads of stuff but I dont want to chuck it all if I can give it to charity or something.

The kind of stuff it is is :

Plates

Mugs

Cutlery

Knives

Pots and Pans etc

Obviously its all used but its fine, so does anyone know where I could donate it to, is there such a place??

Let me know

Ta

Any of the charities that help people when they move to a new home/are having trouble providing things would be very greatful of anything like this. I know SHILOH in rotherham would be greatful or would be able to direct you to someone who would.

Mencap at Norfolk Lodge would put it all to good use in their kitchen, I'm sure. They're very short of funding and they do such good work.

Do you know anyone going off to Uni... or put a sign up at your place of work for example.

If you reposted as free stuff for students..

Thanks to all that replied. I rang SHILO (first post) and they are happy to take the lot of my hands so I'm meeting them tomorrow.

Thanks again people of Sheffield.
