Cleaning a leather sofa

Recommended Posts

I have had a leather sofa given me by a friend the problem is it has a stain on it caused by a cushion that was washed and placed back on the sofa before it was completely dry causing the cushion dye to run could anyone recommend a good strong stain remover?

Spray the stain with hairspray and use a cloth to wipe it off. Saw it on "How Clean Is Your House", tried it on my mums leather sofa and it works.

After reading this in a top tips book, I clean my leather sofa with baby wipes - the baby lotion type. It works really well. Also good for car dashboards etc.

Someone advised me the other day to go to Halfords and get the leather car seat cleaner (can't remember the brand) - also works well on leather jackets, apparently
