If you fancy doing the Great Yorkshire Run, once you've registered please Join Team Macmillan and take part in the Yorkshire vs. Lancashire running challange!

 

With up to 10,000 runners expected to invade the city for the 10k event, entrants will be asked to pledge their allegiance to either Yorkshire or Lancashire. The winning county is calculated by the average finishing time of all runners competing the 10k course in a time of less than 70 minutes.

 

Every entrant will be sent printed red and white roses, for them to decide which one, if any, they would like to wear on the day.

 

So please sign up to Team Macmillan and raise money for those affected by cancer, and show your mettle in the steel city.

 

Remember, it's not when you finish that matters...it's why.

 

To Join Team Macmillan you need to have already secured your own place from the event organisers, then register on the Macmillan website - click on fundraising - then Running. Or call 01246 810 301
