That was what I was afraid of... no new faces at each meeting. But I'm going to give it a go and see what happens. Even if it is a get together, it's a good excuse to get out and about and socialise! Plus, you gotta love mates rates!!
 Share this content via...
indizine   10 #27 Posted July 30, 2011 Why does everyone want to keep meeting new faces when networking is about building relationships with the same people over a long period of time? If you are not or have not won business from the hundreds you already have met at networking meetings, then you need to revise your networking approach and go back to those you have met and work on them. After all, anyone new is just going to join them shortly, by the sound of it. Have you really exhausted orders from your current network? Â The reason people go networking (I would have thought?) is to broaden their horizons and network with people they may not ordinarily deal with on a day to day basis. Therefore new faces = new customers. Old faces may be existing customers but more will only do good for a business.
 Share this content via...
indizine   10 #29 Posted July 31, 2011 Networking is about meeting more people, but the whole pouint is that it i not a short term fix. You go along, but the journey starts there. Sure, newbies will come along, but some folk seem intent on only seeking out the newbies, believeing the majority they already know, to be of less use to them.
