upinwath Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 You have to be joking. not enough hours in the day. I'm just relaxing before my breakfast gets delivered then I'll pop off to do a bit of shopping, camera in tow, before setting up my private cinema and getting the maids' room ready for their arrival next week. Perhaps swimming later. I bought a small step through Yamaha a few weeks ago. I rather like to use my mountain bike but the scooter is handy for getting places fast. Jakarta traffic is terrible so it's by far the best transport. Bikes have been described as king of the road out here by I tend to think of them as rats. Like rats, there are millions of them and they get everywhere. But loads of people don't carry waterproofs so, when it rains, they run for cover.
0742Sheff Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Wath... I bet i would enjoy looking at every single one of your 1000's of pictures. Especially if they had a brief description. I find it fascinating tbh.
upinwath Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 That's just 1 album. I have two. Just toying about with a camera and it keeps me on the streets.
ismangil Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 You make me homesick already! Good thing I'll be there for August, at least! Whereabouts are you? I grew up near Situ Gintung, South Jakarta, near Rempoa.
Amanda Big Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Interesting photos! You've done a great job capturing the contrasts!
upinwath Posted August 12, 2011 Author Posted August 12, 2011 I'm not a technical type, strictly snapshots. In in the South end of Jakarta; a place called BSD. Lucky I'm not mad because mental health care is limited out here. Semi traditional Javanese clothes. Some guy working the field Girls out here have small arses so padded knickers are common.
