crookesey   632 #1 Posted June 13, 2011 Well only for up to 15 minutes, but since the council have doubled the pay and display charges around the London Road area, all you have to do is press the green button and a free 15 minutes ticket pops out. newstar   10 #2 Posted June 13, 2011 I think they have doubled the prices in most of the areas that were charging 20p. I've parked around childrens hospital and in that area from what I remember, they had a yellow button for the free parking whereas London Rd and Sharrowvale, the green one does the trick. Its good if your just popping very quick into one of the shops.
 Share this content via...

GrannyGranny   10 #4 Posted June 14, 2011 I work on St Marys Rd near the junction of Bramhall Lane and have noticed the increase in charges recently. I manage to always get a free spot but it sometimes means a 10 min walk. Funny how during the day the resident places are nearly all empty because they have driven to work! They will be probably having the same parking problem where they work. Its almost ironic.
 Share this content via...
