It'll be an SATA drive inside the enclosure, you can open it up and attach it to a free SATA socket on your Motherboard. Only do this if you know what you're doing.

it dont look like it will fit in any kind of docks its a seagate freeagent 1tb

 

its like said above inside it is just a sata hard drive it will fit most docks or chances are the hard drive is fine its the enclosure little board inside that has fail

Don't be thankful, there are many more such errors throughout the page.

 

I can put you in touch with a very good proof reader (or with someone who could make the page make sense) though they do charge.

no it doesnt. ive bought a new one 2day but would still like to see if my data can be saved. i dont know how so trying to tell me on here is useless lol £20 to the person that can get my data back. :)

For £20 anyone could make your HDD useless
