Wireless on a laptop

can anyone help me my daughter has got a laptop all i can find on lid is rm underneath it says m6boon notebook pc its recently had a fresh copy of windows but ive lost my wireless network in corner so i cnt connect to my sky box weve tryed add hardware but keeps saying it cant find anything does anyone know wot wireless driver this laptop has n were i can download it from thanks for your help

Is there a switch which turns the wireless on and off? If so, is it turned on?

ive tried wireless button n it doesnt do anything but ive got no driver it was working till windows got put on but now its gone and as gfor asus i cant find any name by rm on lid but m6 boon is rite do you reckon thats what it is

yup.... definitely a driver issue.

 

just a quick Google and try getting them from here as asus site doesnt list your model

 

always scan files you download with your AV before opening them aswell!

 

or this ausus forum if you are installing xp.

 

or http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=M6N&p=3&os= and choose your OS. Reading that forum the M6N drivers should work.
