Robbie Loving   10 #25 Posted June 8, 2011 You should be a scout or a coach if you can spot things the pros can't. If you mentioned playing in centre mid to spur he would probably laugh at you and say no chance i wouldnt hava clue  I don't think he'd say that I think he would give it a try. Anyway, the Blades will make him the player he once promised to be.
 Share this content via...
Stockers   10 #26 Posted June 8, 2011 I don't think he'd say that I think he would give it a try. Anyway, the Blades will make him the player he once promised to be.  The Blades have a way of developing players Wednesday just can't manage to bring on, Quinn, Bromby and Geary were all great servants to the club and earned us approx £1m in transfer fees.  The only one we couldn't tame was Owen Morrison, he was a cracking little player but a bit of a nutcase.  Once Spurr gets away from Hillsborough i'm sure he'll flourish, maybe Megsons long ball style doesn't suit him? Who knows.
 Share this content via...

Michael_W Â Â 11 #28 Posted June 8, 2011 I remember when Sterland played in midfield at the beginning, he was hounded and slated! He was quite terrible, but then he got shoved to right back and well...the rest is history! Â Yep I can even remember some booing him he was that bad !
