therascal   10 #482 Posted July 16, 2013 It's not even returned to be refuelled, so desperate is the situation.  But what's going on ? I can't sleep due to it's noise.  9 hours without refueling, find that a bit hard to believe, its fuel tanks are not large enough to let it keep airborne for that length of time. Alcoblog   10 #484 Posted July 16, 2013 9 hours without refueling, find that a bit hard to believe, its fuel tanks are not large enough to let it keep airborne for that length of time.  If it's anything like the Alcocopter, when hovering it'll be in neutral and just ticking over ('idling', to use the correct technical phraseology) ... hardly using any fuel whatsoever. It's only when you need to dart about the skies that you give it any revs. Mine'll idle quite happily for a week or so.
 Share this content via...
