echo beach Posted August 7 Share Posted August 7 Yes to the rear of the Lyceum. Across Arundel Street (now Arundel Gate) and then a short distance down Arundel Lane where the steps began. Due to it being a right of way when the new buildings were constructed a footpath had to be allowed for in the development. Yes you are all of course entirely right, as I can now see myself scuttling along Chapel Walk , crossing over the road and the Lyceum would be bang opposite at the end of that lane .
