i`ve just seen two Boeing CH-47 Chinook`s fly over my house on Shiregreen.

heard this mad rumbling noise and went to have a look and saw one followed by the other pass over the house....sounded like two Subaru`s revving their engines outside, any one else see them and know why they were in the area???

Nah they use red diesel to get round that pesky fuel duty

i saw them the flew over towards the sheffield airport
