Boxing/Boxercise/Intensive Exercise

Recommended Posts

Looking to get a lot fitter with some intensive exercise along the lines of high-intensity circuit training or Boxing/Boxercise classes.

Anyone know of anywhere good around the city centre area on a pay as you go basis? Evenings preferable.

Cheers

Kickboxing can help you lose the weight round your stomach at a faster rate than just normal boxing for the simple reason that kicking burns a hell of a lot more calories.

Everytime you throw a kick, 1. the legs are heavier. 2. you are lifting up your legs against gravity. 3.You twist your trunk hence utilising those CORE muscles (i.e. abs and so forth, kickboxing gives you strong abs, FACT)
