The Idler   10 #16 Posted April 27, 2011 I like the Banner Cross - but since The Greystones opened I tend to decide between the two based on whether I want to watch sport or not.  The Banner Cross have all the sport on - so that's bound to be reflected in a pricier pint. And I'm happy to pay the premium to watch sport in a cosy local rather than a City Centre drinking shed.
 Share this content via...

Noob   10 #20 Posted April 27, 2011 Why do you ask?  ..Why not? You obviously do If you feel it wont go out of business.  Its dying on its arse.
 Share this content via...
Lockjaw   11 #21 Posted April 27, 2011 ..Why not? You obviously do If you feel it wont go out of business.  That would seem a little narrow minded.  I could be their accountant ... or the person who delivers the guinness ... or the area rep. for Punch Taverns ... or the landlord's brother in law. Halibut   12 #23 Posted May 3, 2011 (edited) I'll sup anywhere between 50-70 pints in an evening (depending on if I've eaten or not) so it really adds up!  Yeah, just like you got a double first from Oxford and you're an ex-pro footballer.
