some guy   10 #1 Posted April 26, 2011 I have asked a lot of fellow metal fans if they have heard of this album but nobody has ever heard of it!  Oh... it's Ressurection by Halford, Rob Halford of Judas Priest that is. Released only 11 years ago too.  I recommend a listen to the title track  I actually saw it on a list of the greatest metal albums of all time metal-rules.com - can't remember where it was on the list though. Bloomdido   10 #3 Posted April 26, 2011 I don't like his voice but it ticked all the 'Metal' boxes and even began to enjoy it at the guitar solo. He sounds like Ronnie James Doi.
 Share this content via...

He sounds like Ronnie James Doi.  I'm surprised you haven't heard of Rob Halford - he is better known as the voice of Judas Priest. flamingjimmy   10 #10 Posted April 26, 2011 Oh god make it stop. What a horrible voice!  How on earth did that guy become successful?  OK Guitar solo though.
 Share this content via...
Bloomdido   10 #11 Posted April 26, 2011 I'm more surprised she thinks he sounds like ronnie james dio:D  I have heard of Rob Halford and Judas Priest. Just never liked them. I was in a metal band in the early eighties. We supported Magnum at the City Hall and and Mountain at the Retford Porterhouse (I think), so I am 'time-served'.  I'm trying to recall if I ever saw Sabbath with RJD. Saw them with Ozzy.
