The best heavy metal album you may have never heard.

I have asked a lot of fellow metal fans if they have heard of this album but nobody has ever heard of it!

 

Oh... it's Ressurection by Halford, Rob Halford of Judas Priest that is. Released only 11 years ago too.

 

I recommend a listen to the title track

 

I actually saw it on a list of the greatest metal albums of all time

I don't like his voice but it ticked all the 'Metal' boxes and even began to enjoy it at the guitar solo. He sounds like Ronnie James Doi.

I have heard of Rob Halford and Judas Priest. Just never liked them. I was in a metal band in the early eighties. We supported Magnum at the City Hall and and Mountain at the Retford Porterhouse (I think), so I am 'time-served'.

 

I'm trying to recall if I ever saw Sabbath with RJD. Saw them with Ozzy.
