Best roast pork sandwich shop ?

Joyce's Sandwich shop on Adsetts Street just outside River Don Works did excellent Pork Sandwiches as well as a whole variety of sandwiches.

 

So obliging, she would make just about any sandwich you wanted and they were always good value for the money.

 

Does anyone remember her and her husband Morris.

Butchers on Heeley Green great pork sandwiches. Years ago Talbots on Parkhill used to be great had one every Saturday. Those were the days.

Thev two best sandwich shops are gone. For pork sarnies to die for it was the one that used to be at top of moor next to British Red Cross shop and for the rest it was Ellesmere Bakery

Big Baps on Attercliffe rd have lovely roast pork sarnies on daily. They also have roast chicken and beef. get roast tats with them too!!!:)

The shop at the bottom of Belhouse road was Friedrich's pork butchers they also had a shop in the Wicker, best roast pork sandwiches ever.
