Amir khan rip off

Recommended Posts

Carl Froch is up there aswell, but he got schooled agaisnt dirrell n kessler. also just managed to win against and old johnson. he's gna lose against ward aswell :D

He beat Dirrell and lost a close fight to Kessler.

Froch's last 6 fights have been against Pascal, Taylor, Kessler, Dirrell, Abraham and Johnson. 5-1 to those opponents is outstanding, and places him above Khan by quite a distance.

Problem is Froch hasn't got mainstream exposure, so people who don't know much about boxing (people like you), have a delusion that Khan is our best fighter :loopy:

Froch is one the least skilful boxers doing the rounds at the moment but what he lacks in that talent he makes up for with his stamina and awkward style, he can also take some stick. He will always be out boxed by the much more technical American fighters so has to rely on his fitness, power and stamina.

He may have beat dirrel, but we all know who really won. No body is questioning the quality of opponents he has boxed. But whenever he has boxed the likes of dirrell he has no answer to them.

And as the chap just rightly said he has no boxing ability what so ever. And he has to relly on his power.

come on everyone, hes not that brash as an ex-world champion from Sheffield, yes he is being managed very well by his team, and time will tell when he comes up against good fighters.

Ok so what we can conclude from this thread is that Froch has no boxing ability, and Amir Khan has had a more accomplished career.

Great thread, brimming with boxing experts.....

Froch hasnt accomplished anything he has been fighting for primetime all his life and half of the british public havent heard of him.

I think your all also forgetting khan is only 24 years old, whereas all other british fighters fight someone half decent at 30+ prime examples would be hatton, calzaghe.

I think you will find Calzaghe was 24 or 25 when he beat Eubank back in 1997. Khan should be stepping up and fighting the best in the world by now. Instead he is being wrapped in cotton wool by his management team .

That may have been true earlier in his career. But in fairness Khan was lobbying quite hard for the Bradley fight, which in fairness shows good ambition.
