CTisNo1   10 #1 Posted April 15, 2011 Hi all  Maybe a bit late notice.  I'm headed into Dronfield tomorrow by train from where I live in Derbyshire then headed back into Sheffield for 4:30 or so.  I can't get back before kick off... and  I'm desperate to watch the Manchester derby, another know any decent pubs that serve real ale, preferably cheap and are within walking distance of Sheffield station, e.g 1 mile that will be showing it?  Cheers  Tom
 Share this content via...
ukdobby   224 #2 Posted April 16, 2011 Watched the England Germany game in the Red Lion just up from the station, they serve Abbeydale Moonshine, not sure if they will have the game on though, remember its Sheffield and a lot of us don't care about a Mancs derby. CTisNo1 Â Â 10 #3 Posted April 16, 2011 Oh don't worry, I know Sheffield well geographically and that but know nothing about the pubs as I moved away from the city before I turned 18. I'm a fan of one of the Sheffield clubs but I always watch the semis. Anyone with anymore advice, would be great.
 Share this content via...
Howzat!   10 #4 Posted April 16, 2011 It's not the greatest pub in the world, but the Queen's Head (directly next to the Bus Station - opposite the Train Station) will no doubt be showing the game with it being on ITV and they have a couple of decent ales on draft (though they aren't exactly 'cheap', be prepared to pay £2.60-£3.00 a pint).
