Whole family allowed gastric bypass on NHS!!

Recommended Posts

We are pretty broke at the moment. 1 pack of celery, a few carrots and a couple of spuds with some chicken stock = soup that my 3 year old loves with a slice of wholemeal bread. Total cost £3.00 for all 3 of us to enjoy. Sorry but I have no sympathy for folk who think it's impossible to eat cheaply and healthily

That's great, but I'm afraid there's not much protein there, is there?

No it's not impossible to eat healthy and cheap but for many even something as simple as soup is consuming time they'd rather spend; god help that I stereotype here, watching tv or socialising down the pub.

It's a lifestyle choice, it's that, that dictates how and what we eat most of the time. No time for breakfast, dinner is calorific and the evening meal is quick and simple, which invariably is crap. Getting fat is not a choice, it's a result of poor diet and probably an inactive routine.

Bull!!! I dont agree with people getting out of control but on the sam key every body is different take my self as an example i eat rubbish and move as little as possible each day but yet i dont put a pound on but i know people that exercise like crazy and watch what they eat but find it hard to loose a pound!!!

:hihi::hihi::hihi: That's SO funny!:roll:

And you know that for a fact, do you? Please illuminate us.

Let's face it, you don't want the state to pay for anything for anyone.

Yes, people not being able to afford a good balanced and nutritious diet in this country, whilst others are multi billionnaires and pay less tax by putting it in their wives names, is absolutely stupid.

Most if not all can afford a nutritious diet. It's about priorities. If you smoke you can afford a good diet. Same if you drink etc . People buy cheap unhealthy food but still spend on sky tv, designer cloths, gadgets etc and claim they can't afford good food.

Perhaps not a good admission to make (the move around bit) while advertising your business LOL!!

Of course its a choice. You decide what you shovel into your mouth and how little you exercise.

Think you are both saying the same thing.

I know, metabolic rate is a funny thing and it must tick people off watching skinnies throw junk down their throats and see it has no affect. Eating habits influence how our bodies deal with the food we eat as well. Little and often as opposed to 3 large meals they tell us. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that obesity is the fault of food in every case. I understand that there are medical reasons why some people pile weight on, neither am I of the opinion that they shouldn't be entitled to receive treatment. I'm suggesting reasons why 'some' people with weight issues have a problem.
