Just bought an android phone. What are the best apps to add?

As said many times before, 3G Watchdog to keep an eye on your data usage.

I was very surprised at mine, thought I would benefit from a 1GB data pack, turns out I only use just short of 180mb if I use it a LOT :o

Don't mind as I have a Sensation, 1000mins and capless txt for £20 :)

Download app brain, you also need to register a email address with google to get market both have tons ov free useful apps . Well everything you need realy,

On my Nexus S i use Miren browser.Seems faster than anything else.

 

Ezpdf reader for pdfs!

Astro file manager.

Alarming...alarm clock.

Call blocker elite....for anyone you don`t want calling.

Extended Controls...control widgets for turning wifi etc on and off.

iGO....satnav

Marvin....For those nostagic days when a game of manic miner on the speccy passes the time.

Kindle....my most used app.

Sky+ app is essential if you have Sky+ at home but want to record that programme you forgot to tape while you're out.

 

As mentioned, the Amazon Kindle app is also pretty essential and cheaper than buying an actual Kindle.

 

I also use Amazon MP3 downloader, cos it accepts my Amazon UK account details for purchasing songs.
