Pink2Bubble   10 #1 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) Smithywood v Sheffield Forum FC  Thursday 14th April  Bradway Rec  KO 6pm  Sheffield Forum FCs penultimate game of their first season is their first and only evening game this year. Thursday evening we travel to Bradway Rec (behind the Bradway Pub) to face Smithywood. After our 12-3 win last Sunday, we are certainly looking for a win against a team who managed to beat 3rd place Crookes on Sunday.  Should be an interesting match to say the least, either that or really boring one . A win should be enough to see us finish 5th place this season after poor mid season form, in games we really should have won, saw us drop down the table. Only Noahs Ark, the recipient of last weeks 12-3 drubbing, can catch SFFC but have a much worse goal difference to ourselves.  Come lads! UTF! Pink2Bubble   10 #3 Posted April 12, 2011 Near Lowedges, just as you enter Bradway past the fire station. Theres a pub on your right hand side, I believe its just behind the pub. Basically, from Meadowhead roundabout, follow signs to Bradway and its one long road. In fact, think its opposite Dore and Totley Golf Club. Pink2Bubble   10 #4 Posted April 14, 2011 Sheffield Forum cruised to a third successive win, this time against Smithywood Utd up on Bradway Rec. Very early in the game, Shane Middlebrook eventually broke his drought to put Forum 1 up. Joe Neate added a second when the ball fell to the edge of the area. Shane Middlebrook put away another 2 before half time, making it 4-0 to Sheffield Forum.  In the second half, Middlebrook carried on from where he left off by adding number 5 for Forum before Smithywood were awarded a penalty. Liam Wales added to his tally with 2 goals either side of Middlebrooks 5 goal of the game.  A well deserved win, pressure was constant on the Smithywood defence and several chances were spurned as this game could have reached double figures again. Full time - Smithywood 1 - 8 Sheffield Forum.  Final game of the season against Sheffield Titans on Sunday...win is the aim!
 Share this content via...
