HeadingNorth   11 #2 Posted April 8, 2011 We've usually found the easier option to be to hire a scooter at the other end; most areas are covered by a Shopmobility scheme, and ones that aren't have private wheelchair-hire companies available. We usually pay between £40 and £60 for five days.  You could investigate that option; you may well find that you'll get one or two PMs from people who'd be willing to transport you and your scooter, provided you cover the cost of their petrol.
