pistonbroke   10 #2 Posted March 28, 2011 Hi Petrolman, Try Thule car rack systems, The thule clip on high strapless 2 bike rear mounted rack model 9106 is recommended for your car. £166.56. Hope this helps.
 Share this content via...
manxbiker   10 #3 Posted March 28, 2011 Try Mont Blanc/paddy hopkirk If you ring 01525 850800 you will find them very helpful
 Share this content via...
Binster   10 #4 Posted March 29, 2011 Try SARIS Bones 3 or even better, SARIS Bones RS, both will fit your car.  Pricey, especially the RS, but will last for ever and really quick to fit and secure. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=39562 Considering your car would have ben several thousand pounds, a couple of hundred on a bike rack seems nothing by comparison.  Forget the cheap rubbish from Halfords, the straps take for ever to fit and ruin your paintwork. dan2802   53 #5 Posted March 29, 2011 Agree with the other posts here, dont get a cheap Halfrauds type model, they are very poor quality. I bought a Thurle, dont buy retails though, find the one you need then search the internet for the best price, you'll save £££'s. steveh   10 #6 Posted March 29, 2011 Be aware that on most cars even high rise racks still don't clear the lights totally if you leave the wheels on so you'll need a light board. Tow bar companies will fit a lead in the boot to connect it too without fitting a whole tow bar. Only about £40 and better than getting pulled by the police or being liable in an accident if someone drives in to the back of you.
