Mini Milk Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 A young couple woke to find their TV missing this week, the police discovered the thief had climbed on the conservatory roof and got in through a bedroom window that had been left slightly open, in this case it was their young baby's bedroom! the thieves then went into the married couples bedroom and unplugged their telephone then took it downstairs and stole the TV!!! The young couple were devastated, not because a TV was stolen but because they didn't hear anything and the idea that someone had been in their baby's bedroom scared the hell out of them, the woman is sick to her stomach with worry now thinking about children that get kidnapped or hurt and the fact she never heard anyone come in the house, and because they even had the balls to unplug the telephone from the bedroom, I'm assuming to stop anyone calling the police if they were disturbed, is sickening! makes you wonder what would have happened if they had woke and gone downstairs to confront the thief/thieves. my mum lives 2 doors away, I moved out of Parson Cross last year because of all the trouble, I just wish I could get my parents to move as now I worry about them all the time!
pumas Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Were abouts on parsons cross was this cause we live on the cross on deerlands ave.
puddinburner Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Omg!! There was a spate of these round this end a couple of years back. My gran was a victim, they got in via bathroom window. Then when we went of hol with kids for 13 years, they did ours. First day we were away, smashed kitchen window. They did catch him though. Makes you wonder if that person has just got out?
puddinburner Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Don't know where my post went but should have read first holiday we'd been on with kids for 13 years and we got done first night away.
Mini Milk Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 It was on Milnrow road. it used to be a lovely street I lived next door to my mum on there for 8 years but it got worse over time, I moved to buchanan cres after that for a year and it was 100 times worse, I've now moved out of sheffield & want my mum & dad to move too.

janeyXX Posted March 3, 2011 Posted March 3, 2011 Thats terrible when we lived on the manor we had a break in while we was in bed and it was the most horrible thing, they stole our television, camcorder,hi fi and even cutlery and food,we had one of those giant plastic coca cola bottle for spare change and they stole that and must have shaven the contents out at the bottom of our garden, what sickenend me the most was they peed on all my washing in my washing basket, total scum bags, shortly after that happened we moved
Mini Milk Posted March 3, 2011 Author Posted March 3, 2011 I used to live on Murdock road before they knocked all the houses down, bad street! my house was broken into by the same person twice within 6 weeks, he even took sweets! which he left a trail of leading to the empty house next door, but the police wouldn't go in to get my stuff back as it was breaking and entering! by the time they got permission of the council to go in a few days later all my stuff had gone and someone even tried to break in while I was home, I looked out of an upstairs window and shouted that I'd called the police and they still tried to get in, I was terrified as my daughter was about 2 weeks old then. had way too many bad experiences on Parson Cross I couldn't take any more so I left.
