Please call the Sheffield Cats Shelter on 2724441 and tell them about her and quite how much at risk she is if she has her babies outside in March. They try to answer all calls between 1.30 and 3.30 daily.

With a bit of luck they'll be able to take her in to allow her to have her babies in safety.

If they can't take her then you could also try South Yorkshire Animal Rescue on 2349656 or the local Cats Protection people or Jackie Longley, although I don't have numbers for them immediately to hand.

That's fabulous news :) The best news of all is for her to be back in the home she trusts to have her babies.

Then hopefully they will get her spayed and she won't have to go through it all again.

My thoughts entirely Medusa

STUPID kitten season is nearly upon us, loads of poor young female cats will be constantly raped and bringing up half starved kittens again - as usual. I hope that owners get their cats neutered - if only they saw the devastation out there whats happening to these 'kittens everyone wants' maybe they would stand up and be responsible for their pets.

I hope this poor little girl delivers her babies safely - that they all get good homes, and that the owner gets the girl spayed asap.
