OOmpa Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 do you know if any of them collect? as there are quite alot of things I'm not sure if they collect but if you need things collecting from your house how about putting them on Freecycle here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SheffieldCity-Freecycle/
Redyam Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 In Broomhill you can take them to Age Concern or Oxfam if you are charitably inclined. If you want to swap them for another book, you could use something like http://www.readitswapit.co.uk Or you could sell them on places like ebay, which is quite time consuming but gives you a bit of money.

Hi there, I agree a charity shop would be a great place to start. My local Salvation Army shop always has a good selection of books starting at 20p, fantastic value. They are unable to collect items but St Vincent de Paul and St Luke charity shops have collection facilities, find them in the phone book.
joinerisme Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 british heart foundation have a collection service or they did 3 years ago when I donated loads of stuff after my wife died.
