Yep, Meadow farms lovely, there is also another in chain at dinnington called monks bridge farm, depending which side of the city you are on.

 

Or what about Taybarns at Tankersley, not been but people say good if with kids, to be fair there are quite a few threads like this on here just check out one of those in the eating out section.

The Shepley Spitfire at Totley, great food, great kids menu and good range of wines and beers. Nice simple outdoor area and good clean large kids climbing frame and slide......

Any good boozers without screaming kids would be many folks choice. Difficult to enjoy a meal when kids are running around on the loose. Many parents seem to "abandon" their offspring and allow them to run riot around the food pubs.
