Fibutton   10 #73 Posted March 2, 2011 He's a legend, .......I hear there are going to be some vacancies on X Factor....can you imagine Roger doing the judges introductions? I can !
 Share this content via...
MonkeyLover   10 #74 Posted March 2, 2011 Why are people saying he's the only friendly one, sometimes the checkout staff give a bit of banter. If you go up to the till point like a misery do you really expect them to make any sort of conversation or effort at interaction with you?  Quite agree - I have always found all the staff really friendly and helpful. Mizzy   10 #80 Posted March 5, 2011 Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!  I can't believe that they would do this! I have shopped there since it opened and Roger has always greeted me in a friendly manner on just about every visit. Sainsbos and tesco have got nothing on the charm and genuine smile and warmth that Roger brought to asda's customers. tbh, it is a disgrace that the most personable worker in the place is being made redundant. Shame on you asda. I will go to Morrisons this week in protest! They can get my £100. Good luck for the future, Roger Xx
 Share this content via...

Reesh2052 Â Â 10 #82 Posted March 6, 2011 Should we start a "SAVE OUR ROG" Campaign folks? Thats really sad. Roger has been there for years, always has a warm welcome and a friendly smile. My weekly shop wont be the same. Good luck Roger.
 Share this content via...
Lucifer   10 #83 Posted March 6, 2011 I had a chatand a joke with Roger on saturday morning, he was quite surprised at the level of support he has received even the fact that the local school has started a petition to keep him on. Asda will give Roger a "leaving do" party to which, oddly enough, I have been invited. Roger has had his cleaning hours increased from 16hrs to 25hrs so he will make up some of the shortfall he is used to. This doesn't preclude that we should not support him as best we can.
