Be carefull who you employ to fit doors and windows. Is Jeff a member of a government approved certification body such as Certass or FENSA? As this is where the cost comes in if you want a guaranteed job and Certificates.

 

You don't need to be fensa registered city council will inspect and give out certification

Would a composite door delay the police using they door rammer alot longer then normal pvc door?

 

Rock doors will.My fitter told me he does loads for drug dealers.The police have tried to ban them.

We had our new front door installed from Just Trade Windows Our builder put us in touch with them.

We paid about £800 for the full door as our old one had to be completely pulled out as the wood had rotted out. I've had to blur out our house number in the glass, so unfortunately you cant see the 'lead' We have a few neighbours on our road who have composite doors and their doors dont look any where as ice as ours do.

 

We contacted Everest, as the people who had the has house before us put their windows in. They wanted to charge us £1600+ just for a door.
