Lesanne54 Â Â 10 #36 Posted February 18, 2011 Hi Neilf... Im Lesley Whiteley, I used to live straight opposite the school on Ellesmere Road, I went to both infant and Junior then didn't do my eleven plus because my mum was a progressive person and something called the 13 plus loomed so I was sent to Burngreave Girls school, then in the second year we moved to the new developments over the other side of Sheffield called Birley... I remember the old Junk shop, I was always fascinated with it and Palfreymans on the corner, and the play ground 'wembley' Â It is great fun reding and remembering, such things as Mr Scot the dreaded swimming teacher and the nit nurse
 Share this content via...
