Ecclesall Road South - accident near long line

does anyone know what happend this eveinn around 5ish big accident helicopters all over the place and seriens going off?

there seems to have been roadworks with traffic lights near there for ages.

 

I think they are trying to make it safer.

 

Several fatal accidents have hapened near there over the years.

 

Suspect that speed is often a factor as I have regularly seen cars travelling too fast in that area.

ye i know but there was defo a big accident there yesterday eving not sure but i think too buses had somethin to do wiv it

Various roads heading from Dore up to Ecclesall Rd South were shut off by police yesterday afternoon according to my wife. But I don't know why yet - can somebody enlighten us?

Clio vs motorbike - picture in The Star tonight. Looked pretty bad - was at the junction with Cross Lane.

I haven't read any details of the accident, but from personal experience it is a dreadful junction. I often come back into Sheffield on my bike that way and always get worried that cars are going to pull out on me there.
