Moving premises- help!

Recommended Posts

The company which I work for is looking at relocating as the rent we pay is very high and on the increase. Our lease is up in 3 months (luckily!)

We have somewhere in mind and are in talks with them at the moment, they are only 5 miles away.

I have been asked by the director to price up the cost of moving premises. We are only a small business employing 10 employees.

Can anyone please advise what I need to think about to include in the costs? I am thinking, removal van(s), moving network system and phone system (I will get this priced up by our tech people), down time etc.

Please help I feel a bit daunted by this task!!!

Thanks very much.

Hello,

I run a man and van removals company and would be happy to give you some prices for the cost of moving your items from your old premises to the new premises.

Feel free to give me a call on 07977 930 093 or drop me an email to [email protected] if you would like to discuss.

Cheers,

Bye for now.

Don't forget costs of new stationery to show changed address; marketing info telling people you've moved etc (depending on what type of business it is)

Will try and think of some more!

I think these days there must be a million things to take into account when moving! We don't live in Sheffield anymore but when we moved last time within Devon we tried a man and van. What a disaster, the van was too small so he had to make repeated trips and there was only him (and a little fellow for about an hour who looked like a twig!). Things got damaged and he really didn't want to know.We were distraught. In Sheffield we used Avante Removals but I think they only do houses. My sons business used Specialised Movers who apparently were really good. Hope everything goes well for you.
