Pink2Bubble   10 #1 Posted January 27, 2011 Crookes Valley v SFFC  Bolehills, Crookes  Kick Off 11am  Having played 2nd and 1st, SFFC now face 3rd place Crookes looking to build on recent performances. SFFC have signed up a new player although short on fitness but will be joining the squad for the rest of the season.  With temperatures dropping, hopefully we will escape a frozen pitch this weekend with temperatures of 0 degrees predicted.  SFFC looking stronger in the last 2 games...now need to keep that up for the rest of the season.  Come on Forum! Pink2Bubble   10 #5 Posted January 30, 2011 Lol was a pleasure! Nearly did sterling too before they nicked all the points in the dying minutes!  Looking forward to this morning! Temperature at moment doesn't seem too bad, just above freezing but as you say, its very open up there.  Should be a good game! Pink2Bubble   10 #6 Posted January 30, 2011 Well and truly beaten today, struggled with the pitch a little and finished the game with 5 players injured, including 3 of the back 4. A clever set piece started off the scoring before yet another penalty left us 2 down at half time. Could have been a different story had we gone 1 up when we hit the post but football is full of 'ifs'.  Second half became difficult with both available subs used. It wasn't a dirty game, just knocks becoming gradually worse.  3 more goals in the second half left a 5-0 scoreline to Crookes, feel we underperformed today but credit to Crookes and good luck for season.  We have another game next weekend and will look uln bounce back!!
