muddywolf   10 #13 Posted January 25, 2011 Why do you feel the need to ask pointless questions? Typical Sheffield Forum users. Nosey, cynical and negative.  If you don't have an interest in the sport, don't post in this thread.  Chill a little, badlittlepup was just trying to join in. You can find far better examples of nosey cynical and negative people easy enough, I dont think badpup is one.  But.. to stay on subject it sounds a good view, any idea how many aussies is in Sheffield? catd   10 #14 Posted January 25, 2011 Hi all This thread is meant to be about who is showing the Superbowl!!  So apart from G casino (although I have no idea where this is) does anyone know anywhere in Sheffield that is showing the superbowl?  We are mega Green Bay Packer fans and cant believe that we've got there so would love to watch it with some fellow American football lovers
 Share this content via...
Aussie86 Â Â 10 #15 Posted January 25, 2011 I'm a Ravens fan from my time spent in Baltimore. As before then I didn't have an interest in NFL until living/working with Marylanders. Â I'm assuming Champs will show it.. but although they have loads of screens, I'm looking for a big screen!
 Share this content via...
MikeWithoutFear   10 #16 Posted January 27, 2011 We went to Bar One for Superbowl 43 as we knew someone who was a student who signed us in, and it was an absolutely top do. A good crowd, most of which were Steelers fans (always a bonus), loads of banter, plenty of screens (including a couple of big ones) and great fun. We'd gone to Players earlier and it was bloody awful, nowhere to sit, inane music pumping out at maximum volume, lasted about two minutes before giving up on the idea.  Not sure what to do this year, doubt we can get into Bar One again so probably Champs, although will be interested to hear if anything else is doing..... clownaround   10 #18 Posted January 27, 2011 Did the Sheffield Predators used to be named the Sheffield Saracens or Sheffield Spartans? I remember watching them about 15 years ago at Don Valley.
 Share this content via...

er-indoors   10 #23 Posted January 30, 2011 Thinking of going to the casino to watch the game. They have a policy of no sports shirts. Do you think they'll make an exception on Sunday. I'm a Cheesehead and there's no way I can support the pack without my shirt.
 Share this content via...
