Pink2Bubble   10 #1 Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) Sheffield Forum FC v Forum 2010  Concord Park  Kick off 11am  So we face top of the table on Sunday at home. Another hard game for us but after last weekends game we can be a lot more confident. We worked hard, gave 100% against 2nd place (who have enough games in hand to move to 1st!) and were narrowly and harshly defeated in the dying minutes.  Game looks set to be on with the weather forecast this week. Last time we met Forum we were probably the slightly better team in the first half before crumbling in the 2nd, something which has happened a fair bit but have started to put right.  Having dropped points where we really shouldnt have, we could do with picking some points up elsewhere and will be looking for a result here and away at Crookes the week after. Games from next month will be against teams within 1-2 places in the league. Its tight in the middle so a good run is needed! Lets start here!! Pink2Bubble   10 #2 Posted January 23, 2011 Sheffield Forum 3 - 2 Forum 2010  Well we have got our win with another excellent performance. One up at half time thanks to Kevin Carroll, second half we continued well working as a team. Unfortunately we gave away and penalty but kept our heads up and went in front again through a Daniel Sheedy free kick and keeper fumble. We went 3-1 up when Kevin Carroll got a second and could have had a hat trick soon after. With not long remaining we gave away another penalty which I got hand to on both occasions put goal for Forum.  Match ended 3-2 to Sheffield Forum.  Throughout the match, there were many incidents and Forum were very dirty physically and with the mouth. If anybody did come to watch this match, as we had a few watching, we will be filing a report today and tomorrow morning.  Well done guys...well deserved win!
