Driving test at middlewood road sheffield

Recommended Posts

Its supposed to be a driving test, knowing the route, knowing the maneuvers and trying to gain an advantage is not the way to go about it IMHO. If you pass the test, who will be sat beside you telling you what to do?.

Regards

What is independent driving as far as test is concerned?

Indepenedent driving is a period of about 5-10 minutes where the candidate will have to drive by following road signs or remembering a maximum of 4 directional instructions, without the examiner saying 'turn left', 'turn right' etc.

Its to try and replicate what the driver will have to do once passed, making sure they still drive as expected of them and not relying on the directional instruction as a prompt to remember mirrors, signals etc
