Indepenedent driving is a period of about 5-10 minutes where the candidate will have to drive by following road signs or remembering a maximum of 4 directional instructions, without the examiner saying 'turn left', 'turn right' etc.  Its to try and replicate what the driver will have to do once passed, making sure they still drive as expected of them and not relying on the directional instruction as a prompt to remember mirrors, signals etc Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
