Has anyone actually experienced being on Snake Pass today ? What's it 'really' like ? driveable ? or extremely bad ?

Woodhead was open at 5pm today but is VERY icey

Did not seam icey to me at about 4.00pm on the woodhead

Radio Sheffield have been saying the Snake is 'passable with care' for the last week. I came over Sunday tea time and it was fine. As we have had no further snow, I dont see why it wouldnt be driveable as usual.

i came accross the snake tonight at 10pm. was clear and lovely to drive

Open and completely fine. Nice and quiet too. Will be fine unless we get another load of snow.
