Boxing day sales-Are they no more?

I always remember boxing day sales being a big thing! Getting up at like 5am and going to mhall or town and everywhere started their sales.

 

Went shopping yesterday and most shops have sales on already!!! I asked in various shops if they were having a new sale starting on boxing day and got the same response 'this IS the sale but now they start before xmas!'

 

So doesnt anywhere have a boxing day start sale anymore?

Boxing day sales are just an excuse to get rid of all the hideous clothes and crap that they have been storing all year because nobody wanted it. Get enough stupid people in one place at the same time, make them que up first to build the tension and they will fight over anything if they think they might be getting a bargin!

Yeah sad aint it, things dont always change for the best. Sadly some stores do buy in stock for sales, others do give genuine bargains. BUt it seems that sales are on continually

Yeah! Debenhams, Boots, M&S, John Lewis along with the rest.

 

Boots ones are pretty good - especially the perfume set boxes!

Unfortunately for you Boxing day this year is on a Sunday meaning Sunday trading law applies.

 

Only 6 hours of Boxing day shopping, however will you cope?
