A. Woodward   10 #13 Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Thanks for that stat alex, I'd wondered how many times Wednesday had played at Exeter. There's one club that the Blades have played 11 times away in the league and our record is Won-0, Drawn-4, Lost-7. Can anyone name that club?  Is it Blackburn rovers? ..... or even chesterfield? Owl84 Â Â 10 #14 Posted December 21, 2010 I wouldn't call arsenal a bogey team away maybe a remember the 3-3 though the year we went down. Â Derby are a bogey team for us.
 Share this content via...
Earwiggo   10 #15 Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) You dont have to worry about Chelsea, Everton or Arsenal for a while mate unless you get them in the Cup  Only a short while though CB...... we hope. Do you think Wednesday will play them in a league game, before United do? Edited December 21, 2010 by Earwiggo
 Share this content via...

Like I posted above, we've only lost 1 of our last 14 home league games against Arsenal, which is pretty decent! Away from home is a different matter though. geocol   10 #22 Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Sept 15 07 SUFC 3 0 Wolves Oct 15 05 SUFC 1 0 Wolves Feb 20 01 SUFC 1 0 Wolves 8 other tines back to 1970 Surprised me as well as I thought it was a loooot less maybe 4/5 Over the years we player 108 times SU won 37 WW won 35 Draw 36 Interesting that, becasue Wednesday haven't beaten Wolves at home since November 1963, 5-0 the day after Kennedy as asassinated !  Won 4 or 5 times at Molyneux during the same period, but not beaten them at home.  Having said that last season was only the third time in the same period we had lost at the Hawthorns, and in two of those seaosn s we had been relegated, and missed it by one place in the other (73/74).
