Parking wrong way at night

is it illeagle to park the wrong way at night ,and halfway blocking a pavement, if it is how come the car doing just that for the last year and never moves gets away with it, its parked just below stans chippy at intake . a large green jag i think and its very difficult to pass in the snow, police must pass it 20 times a day. why dont they get it moved, the road is narrow enough without junk lilke this blocking the steet

Then it's not illegal to park the wrong way round :)

Blocking the footpath is advised against and frowned upon, but is only illegal within London, to my knowledge.

Then it's not illegal to park the wrong way round :)

 

Are you sure? I know of a load of cars that got ticketed down a residential street for parking the wrong way round at night.

I'm pretty sure it depends on the speed limit of the road, 30 it's okay but 40 and above they need to park the way of the traffic.
