Recovering data after new windows been put on

anybody know anyone who can try to get some pics i have on my computer, I put new windows on it and there was loads of old photos that was on it. I havent used the computer since so hopefully they sould be still there somewhere

 

any help or computer minded numbers would be grateful thanks, willing to pay if someone can get them back many thanks samantha

ive youve reinstalled windows theyve prolly gone for good, the idea is to back up valuable data BEFOREHAND

otherwise windows may have overwritten its self over them

Depends if the disk was formatted during the windows installation, if the disk was formatted you will have lost everything. But, some versions of windows can install over the last version.

 

Try looking around in directories C:\Users\<username>\My Documents

 

or searching for pictures on the disk.

 

You might be lucky.

if you have formatted it try clicking on computer. then look for windows old.open it then click on user. it could be still on in there
