Update from first website:

Sheffield -

Many services are now operating in a modified form following previous snowfalls. Most areas of Sheffield are now being served again by bus and more services are bein introduced following route reviews. Check later for updates.

Service 11/12 - Operating between Sheffield and Malin Bridge only.

Service 28 - Operating only as far as ASDA / Handsworth from Meadowhall.

Service 40 - Operating normally.

Service 41/42 - Now operating between Moss Way (College) and City due to road conditions in Crystal Peaks interchange.

Service 47/48 - Now operating between Firth Park and GLEADLESS TOWNEND using East Bank Road and operating via Manor Top. Operating direct via Burngreave Road (omitting Rock Street area) between Pitsmoor and City.

Service 51 - Now operating between Lodge Moor (CRIMICAR LANE TERMINUS) and Gleadless Townend via Manor Top and Ridgeay Road. Not serving Gleadless Common or Charnock.

Service 52 - Now operating between Hillsborough and Woodhouse on normal routes, but due to conditions in terminal loops, operating extensions to Fence roundabout via Furnace Lane and using Ripley Street / Forbes Road (not Hillsborough Interchange) to turn.

Service 53 - Operating between Meadowhead and Southey Green only.

Service 57/58 - Operating main roads only between Sheffield and Stockbridge (Unsliven Bridge) omitting Worrall and Deepcar estates due to road conditions.

Service 66 - Operating between Sheffield and Rotherham but omitting High Green and Thorpe Hesley.

Service 69 - Operating, but omitting St. Lawrence Road at Tinsley because of road conditions.

Service 75/76 - Operating between High Green (using main roads returning via Thompson Hill) and Meadowhead but using main roads (Burngreave Road, London Road and Chesterfield Road).

Service 77 - Operating between Chapeltown and Sheffield, but omitting higher parts of route at Grenoside and Fox Hill.

Service 81 - Operating City to Ecclesall via Banner Cross (not Greystones).

Service 82 - Operating normally.

Service 95 - Operating to Walkley, South Road then using Walkley Lane and Ripley Street / Forbes Road to turnaround.

Service 97/98 - Operating between Ecclesfield and Beauchief (Abbey Lane) using a slightly modified route in Ecclesfield.

Service X78 - Normal route but not serving Conisbrough.

First apologises for any inconvenience caused, but the safety of our staff and customers is paramount and it is not considered safe to operate further at this time.

We will continue to work closely with local authorities to ensure that gritters are guided across our operating areas where possible, and that abandoned vehicles are removed to allow more services to be provided later in the day.

I know the 'official' update is above but has anyone seen a 30 running along Beighton/Sheffield Road?

Does anyone know if Rotherham station is still closed? Travel South Yorkshire are saying it is, but as always National Rail seems much more optimistic and is saying trains from Sheff-Roth are running on time.

I don't know if it has a number, but is the shuttle bus running between hospitals?

Does anyone know if it would be possible to get from Woodhouse to Woodsetts (Near Worksop) today?

Obviously there are problems with the A57 at the moment, but are there any buses running from here to there, or nearby?

Also, how is it around Centertainment as the car is stranded there at the moment?

Cheers people

my partner came back from gildingwells to woodhouse last night after 2 nights away..phew...journey took a while and he got stuck a couple of times. He made it over to the Dukeries Estates this morning at about 5am and said the roads weren't too bad. I don't think any buses run from Woodhouse through to Woodsetts. Is the train to Worksop running? Would that help?

Is there any buses going from Meadowhall to town today? I have looked on the above link and Meadowhall isn't mentioned but I wondered if any of the services pass through Meadowhall in the middle of the route and so it wouldn't be mentioned.

Thanks

We don't think the train is running. My mum lives next to the station in Woodhouse and she didn't see one at all yesterday. There are buses that run to near Woodsetts, but not sure if they're running either.

Buses and trams are operating so she could get to Centertainment for her car, but she doesn't feel confident driving in really bad conditions.
