79 Ecclesfield - City via Wordsworth Avenue NOT Yew Lane - every 20 minutes

83 Ecclesfield - Bents Green not serving Shirecliffe Road or Firshill - operating via Norwood - every 20 minutes

87 Chapeltown - Abbeydale Road Tesco via Barnsley Road & Burngreave Road (also shuttle High Green - Chapeltown) - every 20 minutes

88 Ecclesfield - Bents Green via Barnsley Road every 20 minutes

120 Crystal Peaks - Brookhill roundabout

265 Sheffield - Barnsley

SL1 Middlewood - Stocksbridge Mancherster Road only not estates

SL2 SUSPENDED

thanks but what about getting in todore itsself. theres a dance school show tonight (7pm) at the church hall that is STILL going ahead despite the 2ft+ of snow,

Does anyone know about trains to Manchester. The National rail enquiries website says the local stopping service is leaving on time, but when you read the service update on the Northern website it says all trains are cancelled. I've been on hold for half an hour to get through to national rail.

Hi all,

 

I'm up in Newcastle and had been hoping to make it back home to Fulwood in Sheffield this evening, but I've heard a lot of bad news about the weather and the roads in the Steel City. Has anyone tried driving around the Broomhill / Crosspool / Carsick Hill Road sort of way today or recently? Would it just be foolish to attempt to get down the A1/M1 this evening and up to Fulwood?

 

Any advice much appreciated. Cheers.
