Well go and hide in another cave for a month and come back then and we'll see.

Bye bye, nothing to see here.

Just wondering are they in admin? Did they get an investor or did they get 2 weeks to try and figure something out?

Thanks

they can pick wednesday up even cheaper in another 28 days- they are desperate to sell to anyone so will literally be giving the club away to claw anything back from there investment.

They won't go out of business- just into administration. To go out of business would mean liquidation and they are a long way off that!

Just read this:

*****"Right lads, sorry, i cant get into my original thread as owlstalk is screwed. assuming its the traffic.

Anyway, here what happened in the courtroom.

Somebody got up and gave a standard representation for why we should be wound up. Using taxpayers money as working capital etc. have not heard from the club since we were given time on last tax bill.

Then we had someone representing the Coop. They asked that if not adjourned then they would like permission to appoint an administrator.....ill come back to this

The we had our rep. She basically gave the arguement that we were on the brink of takeover from LOCAL BUSINESSMEN. She said that she had seen for herself the liquid assets these businessmen have to do a deal. She then went on to comment that the HMRC had said that they were amenable to the idea of being paid later given the current situation and that the Coop rep obviosuly wasnt in the know.

Due to this the judge said that he would come back to this later on today once the two parties (presumably the HMRC and the coop) have had a chance to speak and get on the same page.

Now, I spoke to Nick Parker straight after and he was very stressed and bemused as to what happened. He described it as weird and said that the Coop had agreed to support us just last night and then didnt in court.

Then he rushed off with our rep.......................(get in there parker haha)"*****

So i wonder what time the judge is coming back this afternoon?

Thanks for that KateDave.

One of the normal people.

Unfortunately, a lot of Blades on here don't qualify as being 'persons'.

A lot of them are the type who'd revel in pulling a ladybirds legs off one by one, and taking a good 4 hours to do it.

Some of them are real people, but most of them on the 'Wednesday are going bust' threads appear to be Neanderthals.
