discodown   11 #1 Posted November 12, 2010 was on the PS3 last night having a mooch round the store when I realised I could download an app called Mubi. Essentially it allows you to watch free films. Not everything, obviously, but independant movies, classics, world cinema, short films that sort of thing and you can watch it free. You can also pay a subscription fee and watch some other stuff.  Also lovefilm.com is now available and for a subscription fee of a very reasonable £9.99 you can watch unlimited films streamed to your PS3.  Both show films in HD.  I don't know if Xbox has anything similar (I suspect if it doesn't it will soon) butI was impressed. motleyjester   10 #2 Posted November 25, 2010 Not tried MUBI because it takes too much space up on the hard drive (I'm a big fan of rock band so space is precious). Lovefilm is ok when you can get it to work. I also recently started watching youtube through the browser which is nice for anyone that likes retro tv, or you can watch the odd movie or two there.
