sgtkate   10 #601 Posted January 7, 2016 What did he put? Was it a classic? Or just the same old boring about speed?  Someone in a German car doing 71mph on the motorway had to pull out into the outside lane to get past him while he was doing 62mph in the middle lane because there was a lorry doing 50mph in the inside lane a mile down the road? simondjuk   10 #606 Posted January 7, 2016 Simply put, the left hand lane is for driving in (unless marked otherwise). The other lanes are for overtaking.  So all in all, if you are on a motorway and not overtaking, you should be in the driving lane.  Its really not that complicated
 Share this content via...

JFKvsNixon   11 #610 Posted January 7, 2016 Move with the times:  Hard shoulder = lane 1 Lane 2 = People refusing to use lane 1 who drive at 50MPH Lane 3 = People who are trying to get somewhere Lane 4 = German cars.
 Share this content via...
