tinajones   10 #1 Posted September 20, 2005 Can anyone name the seven hills of Sheffield?  So far I've got Spital Hill, Snig Hill, BoleHill, Park Hill... Hillsborough, Sheffield Lane Top...  however I think my sources are somewhat skewwie.  Has anyone got the correct answer please? Although Sheffield was heavily bombed in the war due to all its industry, apparently the reason it wasn't completely oblitterated (such as places like Coventry) was because of all the hills surrounding it, the German bombers couldn't actually find it half the time!!
